Your Journey of the 2-Day Golden Triangle Tour to Agra and Jaipur from Delhi by Train will begin at 5am Pickup from your hotel in Delhi, Gurgaon, or Noida, and transfer to New Delhi Railway Station where you board your deluxe train to city of the Taj Mahal, Agra.
Your super-fast train Shatabdi Exp (Train No. 12002) departs at 6am from New Delhi Railway Station. Breakfast will be served onboard, while you enjoy the countryside during the 2-hour trip.
8am Arrive in Agra Railway Station you will be met by your representative/driver at the main exit gate. Visit the wonderful Taj Mahal, a Unesco World Heritage Site, and the world's best-known tomb, standing testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th century Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan and his queen Mumtaz Mahal. (Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays).
Next we visit Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D. and made of red sandstone. The maze of the courtyards, mosques, and private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.

After lunch you may wish to enjoy shopping in Agra is known for its fabulous handicrafts, made of marble and softstone inlay work. Agra's major handicraft products besides inlay work are leatherware, brassiere, carpets, jewelry, and embroidery work.
After shopping, drive to the old walled city of Jaipur. Founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II, this ‘pink city’ is meticulously constructed on the lines of the Shilpa – Shastra, an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture. The palaces and forts of yesteryear, which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendors, are now living monuments.
En-route stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri (Own Expence), which has been described as “the world’s most perfectly preserved ghost town.” Built by Akbar in the late 16th century, it was abandoned after only 14 years, and the elegant buildings of this superb walled city remain intact to this day.
